Our team consists of 5 full-time employees: 1 manager, 2 housekeepers, 1 laundress, and 1 gardener.
During the summer, our staff doubles to provide you with the best possible service and optimal responsiveness.

Alex d'hoine
Manager
After obtaining my degree from a business school, I began my career at Club Med where I learned the importance of customer service. Following that, I spent 18 years in Spain and Portugal as a sales director and later as a general manager for subsidiaries of a large French group. I returned to France in 2014 and took on the role of purchasing director at a regional branch of a major retail chain. It was during this time that I fell in love with the Île de Ré and acquired my primary residence there. In December 2022, I purchased Holiday Services to fulfil my dream of being my own boss and working on our beautiful island.

HOUSEKEEPER
With my two-year technical degree (BTS) in hotel and restaurant management, I spent 8 years working seasonal positions across France as a head waiter/barmaid. Falling in love with La Rochelle and its surroundings, I decided to settle there permanently and signed a permanent contract (CDI) with Holiday Services. What motivates me the most in my job is traveling the beautiful roads and crossing every small village on the Île de Ré to ensure that each property owner has the best stay and leaves with wonderful memories.

Young and dynamic, I graduated in the hospitality industry, learning about customer relations, anticipation, and precision through my past experiences. Why Holiday Services? It's a natural fit for me to leverage these skills and create an experience for clients through my personality and cheerful disposition!

LAUNDRESS
Originally from the north of France, after working in 3 campsites on the Île de Ré and in the restaurant industry, I joined Holiday Services 12 years ago. I am responsible for all the household linen of our clients (cleaning and ironing), as well as managing the reception and maintenance of our premises located in Saint-Martin de Ré. I particularly enjoy when everything is up to date and clean!

GARDENER
After studying law, I worked in commerce for 15 years. I settled in Ars-en-Ré in 2005, where I have been residing since. I developed a passion for gardening, and three years ago, I decided to fully dedicate myself to it. I appreciate the variety of outdoor maintenance work carried out for each client at Holiday Services. My goal is to ensure that every garden and terrace remains clean throughout the year!
